My U.S. History teacher asked me an awesome question, and i had to put it into 'bloggery', if thats a word.
Question- Is there so much hate in this nation that a promising leader might be murdered just on the basis of the color of his skin?

I really believe that since we are now going to have a black man run our country that there's going to be many issues. Im gonna be completely honest with this, i seriously think Obama won't have an easy time as our President. I will keep him in my prayers, and hopefully no one stupid will try to take em' down before his time. I DO think he CAN get killed because of the color of his skin, because Americans are so adjusted to having a white male leading their way.
There is most definately alot of hate in this nation because of the way people were raised. Some whites were raised to dislike blacks and latinos, some blacks were raised to dislike whites and latinos, some blacks were raised to hate blacks and some whites were raised to hate whites, vice versa. Theres so much hate in America, that some people don't even look for the heart in people anymore, they just look at the color of your skin. My grandma has told me multiple times that times weren't as harsh as they are now from when she was younger. I think this is true because almost every year in American history the crime rates increase.
