Mr. President-Elect

Barack Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was president of the Harvard Law Review. He worked as a community organizer and practiced as a civil rights attorney before serving three terms in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004. He also taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. After an unsuccessful go for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2000, he announced his campaign for the U.S. Senate in January 2003, he won a primary victory in March 2004, and was elected to the Senate in November 2004.

In 2007, Barack Obama announced his candidacy for the U.S. Many people disliked the fact of an African-American candidate, but many loved the fact. While running for president, he faced many experienced candidates like Hilary Clinton (D) and John McCain (R). Ultimately the final face-off was between Barack Obama and John McCain. He faced many hardships during his candidacy including, assassination threats from multiple people. He and his running mate, Joe Biden were on the road to victory. John McCain made a risky choice by picking Alaskan Governer, Sarah Palin as his VP nominee. Many people, even Republicans thought of Palin as an unexperienced pretty face. I agree with all those comments because all of her stats weren't nearly equilvalent to Obama, McCain and Biden.

After all of the time elapsed, Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden took the win and he became the President-Elect.

But we can't get too excited, because Obama can still turn back before or during his inauguration.
